Join Opera Maine for an extraordinary evening of storytelling, and behind-the-scenes insights presented in collaboration with Good Theater at its new home, Stevens Square Theater. In anticipation of Opera Maine's upcoming production of Sweeney Todd, Dona D. Vaughn, Artistic Director of Opera Maine, and Ron Raines, Tony-nominated singer, share their personal and professional experiences working on the iconic shows of Stephen Sondheim. Moderated by Brian P. Allen of the Good Theater who has directed six Sondheim productions, this special event will explore the brilliance of Sondheim’s work, the challenges and triumphs of bringing his music to life, and the profound impact his artistry has had on performers and audiences alike. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to hear from two industry greats as they celebrate the genius of Broadway’s most influential composer-lyricist!
